Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.

We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender or experience levels. Throughout all of our programs, students will not only learn the necessary skill sets to protect themselves, we stand behind our realistic and practical approach, confident it will enable every member to achieve greatness and live their best life..

Get To Know Our World Class Instructors

Corey Coffrin

Senior Master Corey Coffrin began his Martial Arts training in 1983 and currently holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in Songahm Taekwondo and a Black Belt in Krav Maga. In addition to being a Nationally Certified instructor he also holds Protech instructor certifications in numerous weapons and systems. Master Coffrin is also a retired Police Officer with over 24 years of Law Enforcement experience. He served as the Associate Trainer for his region teaching Law Enforcement Officers all over the state of Illinois and he is also a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

Elisha Coffrin

Mrs. Elisha Coffrin began her Martial Arts training in 1997 and currently holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Songahm Taekwondo. In addition to being a Nationally Certified instructor she also holds Protech instructor certifications in numerous weapons and systems. Mrs. Coffrin also a certified instructor in Bully
Prevention, Child Safety and teaching children with Autism.

Hope Knoerle

Miss Hope Knoerle Began her Martial Arts Training in 2012 and currently holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Songahm Taekwondo. Miss Knoerle is a Specialty Certified Instructor and serves as senior staff Instructor.

Ayrielle Ehlers

Ms. Ayrielle Ehlers began her Martial Arts training in 2016 and currently holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Songahm Taekwondo. Ms. Ehlers is a Nationally Certified Instructor with a specialty in teaching children with Special Needs and currently serves as the Head Instructor at
Coffrin’s ATA Martial Arts.
